My name is Andrea,
I was born and raised in Cantú (Como), Italy. Son of a cabinetmaker, my first memories of the workshop date back to my teenage years when I spent my working vacations there. Very early on, my father passed on to me the passion for quality work, together with my mother who perpetuates the tradition of tatter from Cantú. Nevertheless, at the age of 20, full of desire, I left to discover the world. Over the years, my passion for travel and craftsmanship has never left me, and my ambition has always been to link my two passions. Discovering local crafts has always been a habit for me whether I am traveling or near my home, but I have always found it very difficult to locate craftsmen and craftswomen despite the internet. My Artisan Finder was born. Today, I want to combine my two passions and co-founded a platform dedicated to arts and crafts to allow artisans to have digital visibility, and users to quickly locate an authentic handmade product wherever it is in the world.
